Sara Conklin runs a successful financial coaching business. She needed a new WordPress theme that would reflect her professionalism and expertise. We chose the lovely and flexible Mai Delight theme to use with the Genesis Framework.
This theme uses the WordPress block editor with widgets only in the Sidebar, so we had a lot of flexibility to create a beautiful home page using Sara’s color choices, fonts, images, and content. We organized her home page to provide information for her visitors and calls to action. The blog posts are organized by category with a grid of posts on each page.
We choose to use a sidebar layout for the blog pages. We also added some custom touches for the sidebar widgets, such as a colorful category menu.
Marcy was sweet and knowledgeable. I had a vision for my website and she literally brought it to life. Her tasks were completed in a timely manner and her fee was more than fair. I found her knowledge of what I needed and her suggestions about design to be stellar.
My website has gone from looking like a DIY project that fell short to a professional website that I can not only be proud of but that will allow readers and clients to take me seriously.
Not only did she create exactly what I wanted, but she also showed me how to make simple changes that I can tweak as my needs change in the future. She was a joy to work with.
